The TCAA CCC conducted a consultation meeting to its stakeholder's in Dodoma on 23rd June 2022. The aim was to collect views and information on various issues of consumer interest in Dodoma, as well as empowering them on Consumer rights and obligations. During the event the Council also launched the Regional Consumer Committee (RCC) for Dodoma. The Meeting was officiated by the former Tanzania Consumer Forum Chairperson Dr. Oscar Ishengoma Kikoyo (MP), who advised the Council to conducts many public awareness programs on consumer rights and obligations as many are not aware of them. He further advised on the improvement of the current consumer protection framework, instead of having many Consumer Protection Councils the Government should come up with one strong body that will protect consumers from all sectors.
